A cruise to Clark Island with Tribal Warrior

The cruise is the easier of the two tours. It lasts 2 hours and meets at the Eastern Pontoon, Circular Quay.

The Berry Island tour is a 2-hour bushwalk with an Aboriginal cultural guide. You see shell middens, rock carvings and axe-grinding sites, and taste bush food made by the guide.

It needs moderate fitness. The track has 750 m of uneven ground with some hills, and you should be able to walk for over an hour.

You meet at 4 Shirley Road, Wollstonecraft. Transport to the start is not included.

The Aboriginal Heritage Tour at the Royal Botanic Garden

The Royal Botanic Garden runs its own Aboriginal Heritage Tour. It is listed as 90 minutes, at 10:00 on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. You must book.

Times can change, so check them with the Garden before you go. Entry to the Garden itself is free.

In July, a whale walk at Bondi visits the Aboriginal engraving site at Bondi Golf Diggers with an Aboriginal guide. It costs from €88 and lasts 1.5 hours.

It runs during whale season only. See our guide to Bondi Beach for the rest of the area.
